Each element of a presentation (preparation, persuasion, and performance) has its own steps, walk through each element preparing for your upcoming in-class presentation. Feel free to work collaboratively and make sure to review the Performance section as a class. If you have time remaining, please ask your peers and instructors what type of questions or opposition. Refer to your Virtual Community Guidelines.

Preparation

Show up ready. Really ready. There are five steps to get there:

• Emotion: Confidence and reliance in your abilities

• What are connection points: Bring up their ideas and let them know that you know and have exactly what they want
• Are there any cultural nuances: Make sure you don’t overstep boundaries or assume anything about their business
